Dearstill Privacy Policy

Effective September 20, 2026. Dearstill is provided by OwlWorks to browse, review and organize photos on iPhone.

Photos and on-device processing

You may allow full access, selected photos, or no access. Browsing, visual analysis, automatic tags and organization suggestions run on your device. We do not upload your photos, their contents, tags or library identifiers to our servers or use them to train models.

If you use iCloud Photos, the operating system may download needed resources from Apple. Your iCloud settings and Apple's privacy policy apply. This is not an upload to Dearstill. This version organizes photos, not videos.

Local records and deletion

The app stores preferences, asset identifiers, review choices, tags and analysis caches on your device to preserve progress. Change Photos access in Settings. Uninstalling removes local app data but does not erase Apple purchase records. Device backups may include app data according to your settings.

Setting a photo aside does not delete it. Only your explicit deletion action and iOS confirmation trigger a Photos deletion request. Apple's Recently Deleted and iCloud synchronization rules still apply. Suggestions can be inaccurate; review photos before deleting.

Purchases and network access

Apple handles Pro payments. StoreKit verifies purchases and restores access. We do not receive payment card details. Dearstill requires no app account and includes no advertising, third-party tracking or proprietary behavioral analytics.

Website and support

When you visit our policy website, hosting providers may process IP addresses, browser details and necessary access logs. If you email support, we use your email and supplied information to handle your request, retaining it only as needed for support and legal obligations. Please avoid sending unnecessary private photos.

Your choices and contact

Control photo access in system Settings. Email admin@owlworks.top for support, privacy questions or deletion of information you provided through support. Changes to this policy will be posted here.
